What are the Seed Policy Labs?
“Seed Policy Labs” are a fully bottom-up concept, to build policy and advocacy capacity in the European seed diversity movement.
With a “regulatory impact assessment” tool that starts from the specificities, values, actions, capacity, concrete needs and future hopes of a specific dynamic crop biodiversity conservation initiative. It contextualises different policies within the concrete realities of a specific crop biodiversity initiative; and aims to measure the impact of different policies on ongoing and planned activities.
As a bottom-up and tailored tool, it is designed to support different initiatives to determine which adjustments to the legal framework would create the most benefits for their own realities.
Seed Policy Labs training, with proposed topics and modules, were presented on the LLD On Air webinars cycle organised on 26th May 2020.
