Recording of Workshop 2 in the Seeds of Growth Community Seed Bank Lab series (115 minutes). Frank Adams (SEED Luxembourg) presents practical, step-by-step guidance on post-harvest seed management: optimal harvest timing, drying methods, cleaning, storage (humidity, oxygen, temperature control, use of desiccants and vacuum packing), germination testing and organising a seed stock. The session is aimed at home seed savers, community seed bank managers and market gardeners involved in regional seed-to-plate projects. The workshop draws on the project’s Capacity Gap Analysis of 140 seed savers and offers low-cost, accessible techniques alongside options for professional storage.
