9 conceptos clave para la diversidad alimentaria

Collective DIVERSIFOOD publication defining nine concepts to guide research and action for diverse, resilient, locally adapted high-quality food systems.

DIVERSIFOOD project (collective publication)

This collective publication from the DIVERSIFOOD project presents nine key concepts developed jointly by project partners to frame research and action on food diversity. The concepts cover resilience, agrobiodiversity, food quality, food democracy, community management of genetic resources, participatory and transdisciplinary research, innovation processes, and plant breeding and genetic resource management. The document explains how these dimensions interact across the food system — from seed and field to plate — and promotes locally adapted, collaborative approaches to enhance diverse, high-quality food systems. The publication was coordinated by Véronique Chable (INRA) and Edwin Nuijten (LBI), edited by Frédéric Rey (ITAB), and notes EU Horizon 2020 funding (grant no. 633571).
