Born in Florence in 1988, after a three-year degree in Tropical Agricultural Sciences, he obtained his Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies at the University of Florence with a thesis on biodynamic viticulture, written after his year of internship at the Swiss Research Institute for Organic Agriculture (FIBL).
After an experience as a field researcher for an important biodynamic winery, he meets and participates in the field-days of Rete Semi Rurali, becoming passionate about the issues related to agrobiodiversity and access to seeds.
Since January 2018, he collaborates continuously as Secretary and coordinator of the activities of the European Coordination Liberate Diversity!, the European network for dynamic agrobiodiversity management on farms and in gardens.
Raised barefoot in the meadows of the Tuscan countryside, from an early age he enjoyed making wine and tending his vegetable garden. To the great passion for Nature and its fruits, he associates the passion for music by studying clarinet and piano.
