A Forum Rooted in Collective Action

The Antibes Forum was more than a meeting—it was a movement-building space. Key outcomes included:

  • Stronger international alliances for seed advocacy and agroecological transitions.

  • Thematic focus on “Migration and Seeds”, highlighting the historical and political links between biodiversity, human mobility, and food cultures.

  • Affirmation of the cultural, ecological, and political importance of farmers’ seeds as tools of resistance and resilience.

What Participants Said

“The meetings were an interlude of peace and fraternity, all linked by the same love of life… Seeds and humans have always travelled; these journeys have shaped our age-old food systems.”
Véronique Chable, INRAE, France

“A symphony of wonders… an encounter that touches the soul and magnifies humanity and the entire planet.”
Alain Patrick Dlugosz Salas, Arariwakuna Project, Peru

Global Movement, Local Roots

Through a collaboration between the Let’s Liberate Diversity! Forum and the International Meetings, the event enabled deep exchange between partners from Europe, Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Oceania. It reaffirmed the vital role of farmer-led systems in shaping sustainable, just, and diverse food futures.
