This year’s conference on plant genetic resources for food and agriculture will address the issues of raising public awareness of crop diversity from the perspective of organizations and actors committed to the conservation and sustainable use of plant genetic resources for food and agriculture.
How is the public made aware of the diversity of crops in a way that affects everyday behaviour, for example when shopping?
Four specialists will try to answer this question and inspire action, while afternoon workshops will allow participants to address some aspects in greater depth. A poster exhibitions will feature projects within the Swiss National Action Plan for the conservation and sustainable use of phytogenetic resources in food and agriculture.
The event will take place in French and German with simultaneous interpretation.
