New Genetic Engineering in Agriculture

This hybrid event organised online and in Brussels by MEP Martin Häusling and MEP Anja Hazekamp of the Greens/EFA and the Institut für unabhängige Folgenabschätzung in der Biotechnologie will discuss the lessons learned from the EFSA & EU-Commission consultations by the title: The question of sustainability, and why technology assessment (TA) is urgently needed for New Genomic Techniques (NGTs).

The event will include a panel discussion with DG SANTE and COPA-COGECA representatives as well as a number of stakeholders.
