
Global Symposium on Soil Biodiversity

FAO Global Soil Partnership (GSP), the Intergovernmental Technical Panel on Soils (ITPS), the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), the Global Soil Biodiversity Initiative (GSBI) and the Science-Policy Interface of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (SPI UNCCD) are honoured to invite you to the Global Symposium on Soil Biodiversity (GSOBI21). In view of the current COVID-19 pandemic, the symposium has been postponed to 19 – 22 April 2021 and will be held in a virtual format from 13:00 to 16:00 CET. GSOBI21 combines policy and science to shed a light on soil biodiversity as a nature-based solution to many of today’s global challenges.
The symposium will enable high level attendees, scientists, businesses, partners and panelists to engage in fruitful discussions and gain reliable knowledge on soil biodiversity.
