12:30 | Weeds are essential agroecosystem elements (Izóra Gál, MATE)
Diversity is important in agriculture, but not only in the case of cultivated or domesticated species. A diverse weed flora seems terrifying at first but it could mean a tremendous help for the farmer as well. Alfréd Szilágyi shows us the weed species playing a big role – negative or positive – in the life of their vegetable producing farm, while Izóra Gál adds some thoughts to each mentioned species about their possible functions on the farm and in the ecosystem.
