    KVANN

Judit graduated as a biologist. Although she spent the first 6 years of her professional career in the field of immunology research, the protection of the environment and sustainable agriculture have always been important to her. In 2010, she started a family farm, collecting and growing landraces and traditional varieties. In 2012, with some like minded friends they initiated Magház, a civil network for agricultural diversity. Her professional life and personal interest finally united when she started to work at ÖMKi in 2017. Her main tasks are concentrated around seeds, cultivar trials, agrobiodiversity management and related policy issues.

WS 7: Agroecology Living Labs – Crossfertilization for promoting agrobiodiversity

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WORKSHOP STARTS AT 14.45

This workshop will explore the role of agroecology-oriented Living Labs as collaborative spaces for supporting transformative change in agroecosystems and food systems. Living Labs bring together farmers, researchers, and other agri-food actors to co-design, test, and validate agroecological solutions in real-life contexts.

Drawing on experiences from different European initiatives, the session will provide space to share strategies, tools, and good practices developed across diverse territories. It will focus on cross-fertilisation, peer learning, and knowledge exchange as essential elements for strengthening agroecology-oriented food systems.

The workshop aims to encourage exchange among actors involved in Living Labs, support mutual learning across European contexts, and contribute to stronger international collaboration in agroecological innovation.
