FAO Global Symposium on Farmers’ Rights

The Symposium aims to share inspiring stories, innovative approaches, effective policies, best
practices, knowledge and experiences, and lesson learned on implementing Farmers’ Rights, as set out in
Article 9 of the International Treaty.

The Symposium is open to all Contracting Parties to the International Treaty and interested
stakeholders. It will be conducted in English with interpretation into Arabic, French, and Spanish.
