The EU Organic Regulation 2018/848, adopted in April 2018, contains ground-breaking provisions on the marketing of seeds, allowing the entry of “organic heterogeneous material” into the market with an easy notification system and envisaging the launch of a temporary experiment on “organic varieties”. This webinar will go through all the rules that impact seed production and marketing in the Organic Regulation, allowing for discussion on the opportunities and downsides of the new rules in different national contexts.
